New iDrive menu option

I had my second service yesterday and have noticed a new menu item in the 'Service Required' menu in iDrive. I thought the service history was written to the key fob.

Is this BMW trying to make me feel better for lightening my wallet by £473

I think this is supposed to show up after your first service, data is written to the key fob but the dealer also sends the data to BMW who then add this to your iDrive via their servers. Think it takes some time for it to start working and I also believe some people never see it.
