Does anyone know what the approx ground clearance is for the F30 sdrive MSport? I was going to get a new one before the new car arrives but don't know if a standard one will be ok or a low profile would be needed. Halfords have a deal on a standard jack, stands and blocks at the moment for 50

I can't help with a measurement i'm afraifd - but i know i had to buy a low rise jack for my e89 z4 as the saddle height of a std trolley jack was too high - i got a good deal from machine mart

Not sure of ground clearance on as I have XD, but struggled with the Halfords one on my old A4 (with sports susp).
So bought this instead:

Went for this one from Halfords, looks similar to yours minus the stands. So no shipping but will need a set of £15 stands separately, will cost me an extra 10 overall.

I think I read the xd on adaptive is still higher than sd on adaptive so the low profile jack will be a must then id have thought. Glad I asked before buying
