Newbie Alert! New F31 to show off!

Hi Guys,

Long time lurker on this site, just took delivery of my new F31, 330d X Drive.

I spec'd xenons, heated seats, pro nav, 19's, and tinted windows, pretty happy with the result!

I'm looking to do a few coding tweaks, if anyone would be so kind as to hook me up with a link to the software compatible with my car, it would be much appreciated.

Here's some pics of the new motor, I'm sure it's nothing new to you guys, but you know, any excuse to post some pics!!

Looks great! Have you been taking it easy or have you opened her up

How have you found the ride in the xd without the adaptive suspension?

Oh look. Another 330d in EBII

But putting my jealousy aside (for the 330d in EBII, not it being a tourer), congrats. Looks mint!

Tourers in EBII are the best! Clearly I would say that!

Excellent looks lovely, relatively local as well, not seen any EBII around here (between Wolverhampton and Telford)

Clocked many miles on it yet?

Great looking car. EB11 is the best F31 colour.

I thought the same thing. I'm sure it's just the angle/light when the picture was taken.

I'm not sure, I took delivery of mine last week and it was the first thing I noticed. Every pic of the 403's i've seen on here have a machined silver look. However mine have a light grey tint to them, looks mean and contrasts with the silver paintwork. They don't look diamond cut either. Look painted with a smooth lacquered finish.

Perhaps BMW have modified the wheels on the very latest cars? Maybe they were fed up with corrosion claims?

My 403s definitely have a slight gunmetal grey tint to them.

Only last week, I had just washed my car (including the wheels) and my Dad was admiring it. He then said "You need to clean the wheels". I think he thought they should be a silvery-chrome colour. I wiped my finger over one of the alloys and showed him they were spotlessly clean.

I'm happy with the colour as they look a little less 'bling' and hide the first signs of brake dust reasonably well.

Mine definitely have a gunmetal colour to them, not silver. Slightly annoying thing is that I can see the end of the sprayed area in the recesses for the wheel bolts like they just haven't been 100% finished off.

If they are switching over to gunmetal, I'm certainly not complaining. Always thought silver ones on Alpine White look a bit naff.
