Just looking for some advice thinking of swapping missus 330d xdrive touring, for summer toy, my dealer says there's 12500 pounds of 1.
Anybody ever ran 1.

I drive a Z4 30i MSport most days, as my fiance uses the 335d mostly. Have driven the 35iS... it's very very fast! Will feel a lot more agile and sporty than an F30.

I average 27mpg running in sport mode most of the time, so the 35iS will be even less I'd have thought.

I have changed off run flat tyres to Michelin Pilot Super Sports and this really transformed the car. Otherwise I think it is just too harsh and crashy for UK roads. I really wouldn't drive it on runflats again as it ruined the cars ride and handling.

It is refined for a 2 seat roadster, which is to say that it's a lot noisier than a 3 series but perfectly comfortable for long journeys. We've taken ours to Poland, Italy, France. In fact we did Tuscany to Hertforshire in one day last year!

It's a proper good fun to drive car, and has coped well with track days, the alps, sunday morning blasts and weekends away. Looks good with roof up or down. Interior is a nice change from usual BMW saloons interiors, though maybe a little creaky at times on bumpy roads. The boot is remarkably spacious with roof up, and not too horrendous roof down- we could still fit our holiday luggage in and get roof down!

Hello,

I use as a fun toy same car as Tengocity a Z4 sDrive 30i. I also did some testrides with the 35is and it is to my opinion a wonderful combination of engine and DKG. As i use the Zett not as daily driver I made a lot of modifications in suspension, brakes, mapping,... which maximise the fun in the alps or toscani but reduce the road capability.
Pending on your yearly amount of driven kilometers I would prefer the F31 or the Z4. To my opinion the F31 is the better daily driver and the Z4 is in that price range one of the best "add on's" to share the nice moments of live like weekends, holidays,...
