The day has finally arrived

After what seems like the longest wait ever it's finally new car day.

Sold the A4 yesterday afternoon so relying in a lift from the other half to the dealers this morning. It's now 8.57am and I'm the only person ready to go.

Why does the rest of my family not realise the extreme urgency of the situation???

Anyway, on a happier note it's dry. Rain was forecast, result. Car was detailed on Wednesday and will hopefully be looking great. I'll get some pics up later this afternoon weather permitting.

Enough talk, I'm off to get these people moving!!

Exactly, I have not even got mine yet and already wife is like - no not car pictures, talk etc again.

Ok, a few quick pics as promised. Unfortunately the rain arrived as I was sitting in the car for the handover so not as clean when I got it home. Had the car detailed by Mark at Total Perfection who did a great job. Treated with Gtechniq Exo V2 and finished with a coating of Swissvax Crystal Rock (£800 a tub!!

) Glass was also treated with some nice Gtechniq stuff which sheets like nothing else - I was driving home in the rain and didn't notice that my wipers weren't on!!

Heated steering wheel

And the picture - not a great day, ran out between showers and backlit to make it worse.
