Anyone else concerned about potential firmware issues in F80/82?

I waited for the 2010 model year to buy my E92 coupe. There were plenty of firmware issues still - affecting the transmission, radio and engine. I now have 150,000 kilometers on the E92 and the computer is still a bit flaky - the engine light goes on for no apparent reason, twice it has gone to limp-home mode - although the transmission and radio are now fine. I'm concerned not only about the prevalence of such problems, but also BMW's refusal to take ownership of known issues.

You have a factory fluke.

Both my old 2008 E90 and current 2012 E92 M3 have been bullet-proof reliability-wise for the last 6 years and 60,000+ miles between the two.

Well, I don't think the DCT firmware issues were a fluke - but I wouldn't characterize them as a reliability issue (more a development issue). The radio issue was known to BMW, but was solved. BMW continues to blame the oxygen sensor code issues - which are not limited to M3s - on bad gas and loose gas caps.
