I'm not to sure what it's called, but I have the non sat nav display, the narrower one.

What the best way to show music in it, I don't mind paying for Spotify or Napster etc but I'd like the tracks to come up in the display.

If you want to stream music, you'll need EBT, however you don't get full idrive control or album artwork (not on mine) and the quality is pants.

I'm not bothered about EBT just controls would be good when plugged in.

I'm pretty sure you won't get controls when plugged in without EBT and thus using a y cable, note EBT is extended bluetooth AND USB, which enables use of the standard iphone cable.
