If this were the new C63 coupe....

This is the new S63 coupe. But the new C63 coupe could look very similar to this.

Assuming that is the case, judging by appearance, which one would you pick? The C63 coupe or the M4?

It is a good looking car, but even when judging looks alone in my opinion the M4 is way meaner, sexier, and more aggressive looking than this Mercedes. The Mercedes interior looks flashy- I'll give it that, but I hate fake digital display gauges. At least for the main speedo and tach.
Driving-wise, no competing Mercedes to the M3 of the same generation has ever had a more visceral driving demeanor also. If history is a good judge I expect the new M4 will likely be the better driver's car this time around too.

I like the fact they stopped sticking what looked like a cheap tablet to the dash and actually incorporate it.

For a $100k+ car, the dash looks extremely cheap. Look at the screen more carefully, it still looks like a cheap tablet. They should have had regular gauge style for the main instrument cluster, rather than a gigantic screen. I do like the exterior styling.

This will cost more than double a fully optioned M4 would. I would expect around $200k with just a few options. BTW, I love the styling, but for that kind of money a slightly used R8 V10 would be more fun.

I honestly dislike the exterior styling very much so. The interior isn't bad. M4 allllllll day long, no question.

we already know what the c63 is going to look like, and it looks nothing like that. the coupe will basically look the same, just with less doors.

I dunno. After seeing the new S63 Coupe pics, I think the front end on the C63 is going to look closer to the S63's front end than the E63's.

Both the W205 mule and the S63 have the "double" front lip and single-blade grille. They also have nearly the same headlight architecture.

No one can really tell what the C63 is going to look like. It is still covered in considerable camouflage.

Maybe that's true for the front end

However, the interior and rear (best part of the s class coupe) looks nothing alike at all, and this is uncovered on spy pics

IMHO the C63 has never been a very pretty car in the first place. They just made it a whole lot uglier (if this is a true rendering of what the next production cycle will look like).

Mercedes new design language looks as if it was conceived around the two door, RWD layout. The new S Class coupe, both in standard and AMG form really looks great, and I really think they have the edge on BMW here when I compare to 2/4/6, including M4/M6. That being said, I am sort of indifferent to the aesthetics of their new sedans (C Class and S Class) and really don't care for the way the FWD cars (A Class and CLA Class) wear this look at all - they are just too stubby to pull it off IMHO. Now, I will say that I saw the GLA AMG launch edition in Detroit and was quite taken in by it, strangely enough.

In any case, I think the future C and E class coupes will be stunning, especially in AMG trim. And I think the convertibles are going to highlight out the sculpted body lines even further. Next CLS should be a head turner as well.

Not sure why your are comparing 2 car designed to be a daily driver with a perormance sport car just based on looks. The interior of the C63 looks as horrible as it can get with the tablet and the giant vents. The exterior doesnt look the as mean as an M4. As regards to the way it feels and drives i pretty sure 0-60 drag numbers aside it will be so much more fun to drive than a C63 would. Light weight, RWD M always is a better driver car than an AWD heavy monster with AT. I am sure as a drag car with the much bigger engine and AWD it will do better numbers than an M4. Ask your self this question do you enjoy the thrills of carving canyon roads or the 0-60 drag. Most drivers enjoy that reward rather than the 0-60 time.

This entire post makes no sense. That's an s class which costs 200k and has little to do with the c63

Why not post a pic of the sls and say if the new c63 was the sls would you take it over the m3?

Sorry, not getting the point of this thread
