Album Art / ALAC
So here's what i need in my future 2-er badly: to look at the album covers when the music is playing and, if it's possible, my car should know how to play alac audio files.
Do i need Navi and it's big screen for the album art? Maybe some other options as well? And how to play alac in the bmw, is it possible to play alac from your iphone? |

But what about ALAC? Does it play lossless? I can't see a reason why it shouldn't, but i found different answers while browsing through the web. |

I'm going to go do a test in my car right now.
edit: ALAC works, and it shows album art as well. I tried over both bluetooth and USB. Here is a picture: So you know, I do have the tech pkg option in my M235i.

This is interesting, I have a 2014 650 xDrive with Technology Package, but it just skips past every ALAC file and says they are not valid - this is via USB stick.
I'd like to convert to ALAC to save space and make file transfers faster than AIFF converted to 256 in iTunes... |
