headlight question

do me a favor... if this is a or if your going to tell me to just say nothing... im just looking for an answer and maybe someone can help me...

my 335i coupe will hit the port this week and im confused about one thing...

bmw is known for the ring headlight and i was always under the impression it was that white/rainbowish colorful ring ... last night when i was driving i saw a bmw in my rear mirror and it looked crappy... it was a plain looking yellowish ring...

do i have to mod my headlight to get that white/colorful headlight look???

it shows on bmw.com that im getting this:
"Xenon Adaptive Headlights with auto-leveling
Halogen free-form front foglights "

can anyone help??

and if i do have to mod the car... im not looking to replace huge parts... it is a simple bulb change? if so what kind? thanks

Yes... What you are talking about are the angel eyes/corona ring.

You can replace the bulb with a whiter or bluer bulb, whichever you like better.

You knew there HAD to be at least one person pointing out how dumb you are so they can feel smarter, even though you were pretty specific. As usual canucklion doesn't you down.

you have to change the LEDs that light the rings.

The following is a DIY link on how to replace the existing ones:

There should be some links on where to buy if you do a little searching

Dude, you start the stupidest topics. Seriously, even if you think you cant find it by searching, try going through the different parts of this forum (ie: cosmetic mods). Its amazing the world of information out there.
