Headlight problems please help!!
got a problem with my headlight at the minte. The drivers side is fine all works 100%. Passenger side however isn't. When I turn the car in I won't turn on and I have to leave the engine running a few minutes and then turn my car and lights off and turn it back on and they work. I've changed bulbs and this hasn't fixed it I still get the same problem. I've checked the connector where the bulb plugs into (with a test lamp) and my test lamp is saying that it should work. Now I've tried multiple bulbs, even my bulb from my drivers side that I know works but it doesn't in the passenger side. I've read that people have module issues but that's when the connector for the bulb is not showing any power coming through if that makes sense. Surely someone has had this problem and can help?! Please help me my car has to be fixed with 7 days or I have to go to court as I've been given a producer for it.

I had HIDs, I checked bulbs and ballasts and it didn't work so I then put standard halogen bulbs in but the problem is still there. I have changed the earth and it sparks but then goes straight out. After a few minutes it comes out. I think it could be a coding/software fault?

Aftermarket HID kit?
Is it the exact amount of time each time it comes back on by itself? Check this and if so it sounds like you're footwell module is faulty. This is a common issue on E9X |

I don't think that it can be a module because when plugging a test lamp in I still get power? Could this be a relay? Because the light does turn on after a few minutes?

If you're using a simple led type test lamp they're will be enough current to light it but nowhere near enough to power a 55w bulb.Theres no relays between FRM and bulbs. As I said test the time it takes to fully power on the bulb and see if it's consistent every time.
