M3/M4 OEM 19" Black Wheel: Which would you prefer?

This poll is for my curiosity and does not consider the silver wheel choice. For the optional 19's would you rather BMW offered an all black wheel option or their current offering you see everywhere and at autoshows. Black in the middle and grey on end of spokes

I like the two-tone ones being shown at the auto shows. It's something different and mixes it up a bit then just all black or all silver.

The disappointing thing about the two tone is that it looks so much worse than the all-black wheels we were seeing on the mules. Kind of like a last minute attempt at some kind of cheap aftermarket bling.

Thats what I'm saying. I think the two tone is awful. If you want silver thats great but if you are a fan of black wheels I for one want all black wheels not that two tone crap

With the amount of brake dust that is created by the standard braking system, the regular silver wheels will be two tone before you know it!!

I can't say that no brake dust is worth $7000, but I hear ya!

At least the stock style is super easy to clean compared to the "mesh" style.

That's one of the great joys of BMW ownerhsip no? The frequent awkward cleaning of intricate wheels.

I think it's still too soon.

We have only really seen them under super bright auto show lights correct?

The big problem with all black wheels is they can be boring. These two tone versions might actually look good out in real world lighting situations, with some unique contrast.

I'll admit, they do look funky in all the auto show pics. But I have a feeling they'll look cool in real life.

I hope you are right. I haven't seen them in person but I am taking my chances (have them ordered on my M3).

I've ordered them as well. Much like the colour choices for the cars exterior I am left underwhelmed by the standard wheels offered. The silver option are very plain and boring- the two tone is at least different and interesting and IMO look sportier.

I too am getting more and more sick of my all black wheels. The two tone changes things up just enough.

All black or even black with Ferric grey inserts would've been nice. Smoked black perhaps?

The two tone wheels remind me of those cheap(er) aftermarket wheels. Something like this:

Remember, the stock E9X wheels were two-tone as well.

I never owned an E9x but those were hideous as well. Except the ZCP wheels.
