M3/M4 orders?

So who is planning on ordering the above?
Or maybe this : http://www.worldcarfans.com/11401136...next-year-with

Seems like Merc kept is ballsy with the v8.

I really like mercedes' engines, but their new styling choices leave a lot to be desired. The new CLA is hideous and the press photos of the new C class leave a lot to be desired as well. I'll without final judgment until the C63 comes out, but I'm not holding my breath.

Than again, that's what I thought when I compared the previous generation M3 vs. C63 and after driving both, I bought the C63.

I am a BMW fan 100%, but that V8 definitely sounds pretty interesting.

Think Im one and done with Merc, the C63 was fun, but just not a BMW.

Im curious though, when guys here talk about the M3/4 and C63, we're mostly speaking in terms of "in addition to the M5" and not a replacement correct? I just personally dont view these as replacements.

I have a ML63 and drove a C63 for a week. The Merc AMG engines sound great, are fast off the line and the interior is luxurious but I am looking forward to getting rid of the ML63 soon. I like the overall driving experience of the BMWs I have and still have better. Also the electronics are just painful in the Merc. That being said, I've never had some many random people comment on my car until I had the ML63.

Although the new M3/M4 looks like a great car, I'm keeping my E92 M3 and planning on adding a M5...

I agree, the C63 sounded awesome, really fun off the line. I had a pre-LCI C63 also, so it did not have MCT, which I would have preferred since im an SMG/DCT guy. But getting back into an M car, you easily notice the difference in the ride, def handles way better.

"………..because these new cars - with a quoted 0-62mph time of 4.1s (with the DCT ‘box) - are the quickest production cars BMW currently makes. Even faster than the M5 and M6. Not that BMW cares about such things. "We're not concerned [with being quicker than its 'big brothers'], we just wanted to make the quickest M3 and M4 possible."
Quotation from an article in Topgear about the new M3/4 read today in an interview with Matt Collins, production manager of BMW's small to medium cars. So I guess it is official: the M3/4 is faster!

So I wonder if AMG's mpg will be much lower than lighter M3/M4 with a smaller engine.
At the end of the day we look at these cars because they resemble muscle on the road and looking at that statement it seems that AMG is grasping the concept a little better.
If the next generation M5 goes with the v6 tri turbo I might have to start looking elsewhere.
