Anyone have a solution to BMTechnic software?

I purchased the BMTechnic software and cable and shortly after they closed down/went bankrupt so now when I try to install it on my new lappy it gets stalled on the installing VMWare stage. I really only wanted DIS / GT1. Now for you computer geeks out there. I have my old lappy that has everything working on it...is there a way I can just copy everything on that computer and make a partition on my new lappy and somehow slap it in the new one? B
