Help! Can radio show station numbers??

The radio has me confused. All of the presets I just saved show up as radio station names instead of, for instance, 100.3. Is there anyway to change this so that the numbers show up? I've read about RDS. I believe I have it off so I don't think that's the issue. No i-drive btw.
