Hamman Rep Roof Spoiler

So I just recieved my rep roof spoiler from ayba today. I took it to my bodyshop to get it painted and installed, but they said that they were not "comfortable" mounting it onto the glass. Has anyone done this themselves. I'm sure there are people. How did you do it? Is what their telling me crap?
Thanks for the help guys.

i dont think that 3m tape will hold it. Its a lot bigger than your average roof spoiler...look on hammans website. Will try to get some pics up this weekend and then once it is hopefully installed and painted.

I'm sure proper double sided tape will be fine. Look at the other parts that use these tape...trunk spoiler, front lip, front splitters...

3m tape FTW if you ever decide to go a different route with the car all you have to do is just heat it up, unlike betalink which would probably take a bit more time to take off completely.
