Help me choose

As some of you might know I've got the Alpine retrofit and I'm not really happy with it. I've had a look at some of the PnP kits that are available and read people's opinions but what I'd like to do is listen to a couple of systems. Taking Makkan's advice I'd like to listen to the following:

Gladen with no DSP
Gladen with DSP
Maybe Gladen extreme
MB Quarts (a bit of a,long shot I know)
Rainbow kit (again another long shot as it's quite new).

It's a shame that Mr Singh banned as he could of helped me out here with a couple of the above.

So here's where I beg, I'd like to listen to your system if it's one of the above. I'm based in Newmarket (Suffolk/Cambs border) and I'm happy to travel to you

I know that there are a couple of people who are in the same boat as me, maybe we could have a mini meet so people can try out a few of the options?

I have the typical focal/earthquake/digital eq - based in Essex if that helps?

I live in huntingdon and you are more than happy to come and listen to my audio file stage 2 which has just been done today. It consists of focal 100 KRS SPEAKERS and tweeters with 3 channel amp and a complete rewire. I suggest you look at their website and if interested let me know. Oh and I have nothing to do with the company it's just what I would recommend if you have the funds.

This is what I started with then handed over another lump of money for extra amp, sub, and digital EQ a month later :-)

I am in depending on the location and time.
It will be good to hear different sound system and learn from each other.

Yeah it'll be good to compare them back to back. I was thinking of meeting a Halfords as we did before. I really want to hear the Gladen set up.

Ask what people think and if they are up for it and then we can work out the location.

How much was your setup? I want something similar plus the ability to connect up my MB Quart Sub.

I will try and make this, would love for your input / adjustments where necessary on my setup.

Also want to do something with my rear speakers, but once you have heard perhaps you can advise.

Perhaps don't show me your latest iDrive etc as otherwise it will be an expensive meet for me

I think that the Gladen harness does this (I could be wrong though).

The more different systems we get the better.

I'd be interested in hearing the audio-file set up as well but I'm not sure if the underseats will be lacking compared to the rest of the front end/Gladen kit

Is there anybody in our area that has the Gladen kit?

The underseats are run in parallel rather than from their own amp channel if I read their website correctly.

I don't think that's right. I have one JL amp running fronts and underseat subs on diff channels, then second JL amp runs sub in boot.
