OEM Trunk gas cylinder lift supports E9x
I have a pair of OEM Trunk lift supports. I put a new Cf trunk on and these were too strong for the light weight trunk. so I replaced these with new cylinders to be able to handle the lightweight trunk easier. Asking $50 shipped for the pair. these sell for over $40 for one new. My car had 30k miles on it when I replaced them. these will (should) work on any e9x car.

Mind if I ask what new cylinder did you use?
I have the CSL trunk as well but don't know what cylinder should I replace the OEM with. Bumping this up and good luck with sales |

It is much better than the OEM for the light weight CSL CF trunk, but could still be a little stronger...I think I told them my trunk weighed 12 pounds...add a few pounds to it. Overall, took 3 minutes to swap out and much better fitment with the trunk now too...since the OEM was too strong and was lifting the trunk a little after it was closed. Hope that helps
