poplar steering wheel beard trim

Hey guys, I'm switching my interior from the standard silver to all poplar wood. I have the standard kit coming, and the gear shifter/e-brake handle, but I was wondering if anyone knew of a source for the beard trim (I guess its called). Can BMW order one? Is there a source on the internet? The roveractive kit, which is where the picture is from, says that it does not include it. Thanks, Adam.

Not a fan of the wood on the steering wheel myself.

yeah, I'm on the fence, if it wasn't for this pic then I wouldn't have even considered it.

...but that reminds me, I have a multi-functional wheel, guess its a no go?

I think I know what's off putting about the pic: the rubber/plastic center of the steering wheel looks odd surrounded by wood.

nah its just the whole expanse of it...a classier alternative would be like the Individual wheel.

Yeah I'm not into THAT much wood. Somehow it goes from being classy to tacky real quick.

It would look ok with Grey Poplar wood because it would blend in with the black steering wheel better.
