Re-setting of service light.
Can anyone please assist,
I recently serviced my 320d for the first time since the motor plan expired. i then took it to a "so called expert" to reset the service indicator. He plugged in some hand held machine (into a port just under my boot release button) and tried to reset the service lights. Once he had finished the car now shows a service light (car on a lift in red) as well as my handbrake light is now permantly on. i have read on the post how to reset the service lights (oil, brakes etc) but i can't seem to be able to reset the two new faults that are now showing. can anyone perhaps offer some insight as to why this has happened and how to rectfy these faults, thanks. |

Man you just can't trust anyone to touch these cars these days even experience shops it would seem from other posts around here.
I would at the very least call the place back and express your concern and see where they want to take this next, make sure they realize that you're not in the habit of letting other mess with your car and esp getting it back worse then before you dropped it off. |
