Under body damage
Hi,
At the parking today i ran into a curb which was a bit longer than usual... little bit of the undercover plastic has come off and scratches at the bottom: how serious is this, will it cost a lot to fix? please find attached the images.. lol your probably fine if it was just the undercover. Mine has a good tear in it running straight over a log in the road once, thank god it went directly under the car and I didn't hit it with my wheels.

you could replace your jack pad. I wouldn't worry about the rest.

Might as well take it to the junkyard, it's done for.

I would either trim the loose, ragged edge of the underbody panel, or replace it outright. It appears to be the left side, which is ~$70 online; the right side is only ~$30. I had to replace my left side when I drove without the engine cover and the sheer force of wind at highway speeds caused the transmission cover section, acting like a giant scoop, to break off the mounting points on the left underbody panel, trashing not only that panel, but the transmission cover as well as it scraped against the freeway.
All the underbody panels are easy to replace (so long as you have a jack, or preferably, ramps) as they are held in place by numerous 8mm bolts and a couple 10mm nuts.
