Manual Window Roll up
Look like my rear passenger side window regulator has stopped working and now the window is stuck down. Can I take off the door panel and manually roll it up until my regulator comes in the mail?

I've held the button for like 30 sec and got the window anti trap error... Seems like the only way to get it up is to replace the regulator. I've heard slamming the door might help. Did you end up just replacing the regulator? The motors is making a sound like it tries for a second but it dosent go anywhere..

If you're gonna take the panel off to try to manually roll up the window, might as well just replace the window regulator when you're in there?

Waiting on regulator, just don't like my window down, especially on the freeway. I was able to jimmy some tap on the regulator and holder to stay up until I get the regulator.

Do you have a tuning cable?
I have found that INPA can electronically reinitialize and then roll up the window from within the software. If you let the window all the way down again, you'll have the same problem again. To prevent this, stop the window about an inch before it goes all the way down. It won't get stuck. If your window is down and you need it up NOW... Take a pair of needle nose pliers and grab the window in the door. Pick a point close toward the b-pillar end of the door. Pull the window upward gently and then use the switch to get it to raise up at the same time. #works like a charm |

If the regulator broke you might need to take the panel off and force the window up. If the wire snapped you'll have to take the regulator off to roll the window up. Its a pain. Both happened to me even after replacing the regulator. Now I just don't mess with the rear windows. I don't know whats wrong. Maybe tint.
