Lockdown mode? No power.

335i E92

So I locked my car on Friday and left it alone until I went out to start it this morning(Sunday) for work. My key fob did not work? Went and got my spare thinking the battery was dead. Nope that wasn't it. Used my physical key to try and get in. After many jiggles I finally got the drivers side lock to pop up slowly? Once in the car I noticed that there was no power to anything. So, I pop the hood and go shut it since the battery is not there, ha. I then try popping the trunk which does not work since it requires power. At this point I assume my battery is dead. I try using my metal physical key on the trunk. It will not work. I give up and go set up to work from home. Lunch time I go out to try again now that it's warmer and lighter out and try key again. Nothing. I then proceed to get a broom handle out and pull the emergency latch from within the trunk through the rear seat armrest hole. As soon as I do all the light pop on and there is no drain that I can tell. Car started right up and key fobb works again?

Has anyone else ran into something like this?

Your car is haunted. I'd be careful with Halloween coming up.

Check if the battery cable recall applies to your car.

Mine just did the same thing (parked it, came back, no power, no nothing)

Knowing about the recall I smacked my fusebox and all power came back, perhaps you just juggled the car enough to have it make contact again. Thats my best guess, have it checked out.

If all else fails then yes I'm afraid its haunted

haha, funny you should say haunted I swear my girlfriend hexed it because she thought I should get something more practical, whatever that means. Everything that can go wrong with this car so far has. I actually took it in back in early July to have to have the recalled cables replaced. While it was at the dealer waiting to get this done it was hit by a UPS truck. I am still trying to get the damage fixed properly from that. Best body shop in OKC did a pretty awefull job. Tomorrow I drop my car off for the second time to see if they can get it right this time. Hexed.

Bad voodoo, bro. Is your gf a witch doctor?

I'm telling you, there's no other explanation.

Great. Now I won't be able to sleep tonight. To make matters worse, I'm watching ghost busters right now which always gives me nightmares. Damn this stupid holiday.
