So I just test drove the 435i fully loaded and I have to say it definitely is a nice car. The technology in this car is top notch. The cameras equipped on the car that help you rear park and merge into traffic is really handy and neat. The steering wheel was different but nice (Not sure if its better looking than the older M sport steering). The handling was definitely sharp and responsive. I was taking highway ramps at 140 and no slippage or anything. The car is 8 speed automatic and the speed it shifted at was super quick. The seats were very comfortable and the new idrive is definitely cool. The suspension and ride quality was better than the 335 for sure. Felt a lot smoother and not hard.
The exterior of the 435 is nice but I dont think its a sleeker or more aggressive car than the e92 335. It has the same N55 engine but the layout is different from my engine layout. Not sure how that will affect modding and such forth. The back seat was the same as the 335. Comfortable but not a whole lot of space to move around. My 335xi is my baby and I love 335s a lot, but I dont know if the 435 is that much of a better car to trade in or buy. I feel my 335xi can keep up or even beat the 435i in various comparisons. But then again my car is modded. The car has great potential and I cant wait for the M4 to come out. Overall, if i didnt have a 335 i would be all over this car but since i own a 335, i dont think its worth the upgrade, unless you`ve got money. Either way, BMW has made yet another great car.

Wait for the M4 not like the 4 series is a better car and it's positively inferior looking to the E92....2 series pics look more 3ish than the bloated bubble hooded 4.

E90. The 4 series looks bloated. I prefer hydraulic steering, over electric steering. I'm sure the 4 series has better bells and whistles, however, I prefer a sports car, than a luxury car.

And I would actually buy that t-shirt as long as it reads:
BMW has made yet another car. - BMWTein @ E90Post Kickstarter anyone?

IMO the F3x's look a lot more aggressive than the E9x's. We have an F10 in the family and I think the electric steering is fine. I'm sure when the E9x came out all the E46 guys were saying the same about the e90 but its an obvious improvement in all aspects, as goes for the F3x's

Smart man. Bet the weak incentive pricing (which is to be expected right now) for the 4 series didn't entice you either.

I don't know how the steering is on the F30, but the F32 steering felt sooooooooooo light and unnatural. If I was blind folded and someone put me behind the wheel of an F32 and told me to play with the wheel, I'd think it was my mom's 2007 Altima.

Forget light, I've had a few F30 loaners (as well as some F10's which are awful compared to E60's, it's like some barge) and it has ZERO feedback. I've got a route I like to take to evaluate cars against one another, and what was so disconcerting was that as the loads built and the F30's front tires started to scrub it was the EXACT same feeling through the wheel. It was just like playing Gran Turismo with one of those Fanatech wheels, very impressive... For a video game.
The F3X has much better ride quality being tuned from the start for RFTs. E90's clearly wake up and make sense with non-RFTs. The only way I can summarize the difference is that with any previous 3-series I wanted to go for a drive simply to drive. Yet, in all the time I had the F3X loaners I've never felt this way. I hope they correct this with the F22, because dear lord does that thing look to have potential.
