US 335 delivered

Just took delivery of our 335xi GT Sport Line. Exterior color is Jet.

Photo comparison of our jogging stroller (they'll put "GT" on anything these days) in the trunk of my E90 M3 vs. the GT. Also, I took a shot of a 32mm wrench and 1" drive ratchet for scale.

Beautiful car! The red interior makes me even more anxious for the arrival of my new steed.

Awesome. Black sports line looks great without the license plate in the front.

I saw one in person at the dealer, I must say this is one of those cars that you need to see in person, pictures do not truly express the beauty of it..they penalize it a lot..
Congratulations

Amazing Car and Photos

I'm almost speechless over the beauty and the wow factor of your car! Great outside/inside color combo! Photos showing size of trunk with stroller as a reference between sedan and GT is amazing- BMW should do that in their advertising of the GT (except that would show off the sedan in a poor light!) I've got a question regarding the window trim surround: the photos show the B and C pillars with a high gloss finish, but it doesn't seem the window surround has that same high high gloss. Can you describe the degree of gloss please. I was thinking of mineral white and wondering about how apparently two different glosses would appear on a white GT. Thanks!

FYI: our 335GT weighs 4060lbs with a full tank of gas and some random crap in the car. This is about 275lb heavier than our outgoing E90 335xi and about 450!lb heavier than my E90M. 50.8% is over the rear tires, which explains part of why the handling balance feels better than the E90xi did, it was more like 48.5% rear

Even weighing almost 300lb more than the e90 it's getting 5% better fuel economy under the same driving conditions, and feels just as quick probably thanks to the 8speed

Notably, this is the first BmW i have weighed that has come in heavier than the quoted weight, which is 4010 according to BMW. Makes me that much more sure their recent claims of weight loss are marketing nonsense, see also the f30 328 vs e90 328, wherein the supposedly lighter f30 is actually heavier. See also the F32 which is heavier than E92 and F30 both. I suspect the new M3 will be the same story in spite of their claims to the contrary

Winter setup is on the car. Cheap gunmetal tire rack wheels and 225/55-17 dunlop run flats.

Hauled the baby haul home from Grandma's house way better than our E90 would have.
