Headlight has no power
Hey, I just replaced a failed driver's side H7 halogen low-beam bulb in my 2007 328i (no adaptive headlights). The new bulb will not light. I checked the fuses that the heiroglyphics say are for the lights-they are good, and appear to cover numbers of lights-there are not separate fuses for the individual headlights. There is no power to the bulb-checked it with a meter-passenger side bulb lights just fine. Are there circuit braekers for the headlights? I have seen references to them, but cannot find anything concrete.

My headlight is now lit. But I didn't find anything wrong-it just came on when I started the engine (before, I had been pushing the start button without pushinbg in the clutch). The only things I did before it started working were: checked the voltage at the connector with no bulb-it was only11.5V, and gently pushed on the large multipin connector that goes into the back of the headlight assembly. I may have more problems ahead-the light went on and off a couple times today before it failed, and the old bulb checked good, though its filament looks crusty and gray and its resistance varied a bit when I checked it.
