One of the many benefits of having BMW mod your car

Everything that would normally break or need replacing 5-10k after the warranty expires does so 5-10k before.

My list of warranty/maintenance covered work thus far:
Charge pipe replaced (blew apart)
Radiator replaced (popped seam)
Mufflers replaced (waste gate rattle, vacuum line and seal issues)
Cracked and bent wheels replaced (covered under tire and wheel warranty)
Spark plugs replaced early due to stage 2 PPK requirements
Rubber gasket around rear window needed to be replaced
Left muffler replaced due to waste-gate rattle
Charge pipe just blew out again

I think there were a few other dots and tiddles, but I can't recall them all, and most don't relate to the PPK or M Performance suspension.

What else should I be on the lookout for? At this point(46k miles on the odometer), I'm thinking of getting the extended warranty.

Damn, all that before 46K...

I'd say go with the warranty.

It is a 2011, but it also has nearly 50k miles on it. I drive a lot.

My brand new OEM charge pipe (only a week old) just popped last night after going WOT from a stop for the first time since getting it back.

You really need a metal charge pipe. When you are looking check out the BMS version, excellent price & quality.

Jeez. I have a 2011 335 sedan with 46k on it. Please tell me all that's due to your driving. Thankfully have extended warranty till 75k miles (except: 1, I drive a ton of miles and 2, I feel like extended warranties are shaky at best)

Yikes! 46K miles seems low to have some many issues, even little ones.

Man - I'd not even ponder the warranty, I'd just do it. When I bought my CPO '10 E92 the extended warranty was a no brainer.

Got the extended warranty today. 2750 for gold 6 year, 50k. I think that was a decent price.

Waste-gates in the mufflers? I think you must be referring to the vacuum flap in the left muffler. Wastegates are attached to the turbo housings.

Good point. That's just how the service advisor described it.
