Any interesting updates to 2007 335i engine/nav/etc in recent software upgrades?

I haven't updated software since my car was out of warranty (2011)... Is there any good reason to update the software for my 2007 E90 335i?

I remember early-on there was a lot of change with each update, especially for engine tuning (turbo lag going up, then down) and navigation (UI improvements), for example.

Any advice is much appreciated!

BMW made a switch from Navteq to TomTom around 2009 I believe. It may be a good time to update your navigation maps. The first update from TomTom was slow/didn't even work on my wife's. 2013 is much better. Financial issues are keeping me from purchasing the 2014 which has just now become available. You can purcahse it here:

I'm not sure if you can find it cheaper from Tischer after handling charges....
