MotorTrend comments ruin M4
I don't know why I read internet comment threads, must be masochism, but I came across something that may well ruin the new M4 forever for me.
Someone pointed out that if you look at just one side of the front bumper, it looks like a goofy robot smiley face. Never noticed it before, but now I can't get it out of my head. The sweet F80 pictured in the upper left of this forum is now a red demon robot mocking me! I must flee~! M4 Crow from MST3K |

LOL! That's funny.
While I'm not a fan of the new 4 Series or M3/M4 front bumpers, I won't let that dissuade me from buying the new M3. I'll just change the bumper. |

Hilarious.
But did Motortrend or someone on their site in the comments actually steal your idea? I guess it would be hard to "prove" but if the dates are consistent it's not a bad bet that someone stole your idea.

we should all send emails, or better, printouts of the proof to the "letters to the editor" mailing address and make their ass at least give a shout on in a little corner of the next magazine.
also comment on their online page. LOOL |

Haha, brilliant! But no, it doesn't ruin anything for me. It's not as bad as the E60 quickly getting the epitet of "Dame Edna" and that didn't stop me from buying one and what a good car it was. I still think the E60 M5 looks stellar, it has IMO much more presence than the F10 M5 so there is hope for the M4

LOL... when you really fancy an M3/4 I guess it's for it's overwhelming ride and balance, not as much for the skewed analogies you see between all kind of infantile cartoons and detail aspects of the cars exterior.
The concept still looks like a million dollars to me! Irrespective all goofy stuff out there in the ROW. Try to forget about. There are most probably also comparable design comparatives between Ferraris, Lambos, Bigattis etc.... and Mickey Mouse his polished ass. But it's hardly an argument against....? |
