engine really hot!!!

Hi everyone, about a month ago my engine overheated due to a failed water pump and thermostat, I replaced them both with new oem pump and t-stat...about a week after the replacement my car runs fine but when i turn it off i notice the engine is super hot, and my windshield water fluid signal on the dash came on as well. When i went to fill it up with rain x washer fluid, i noticed that the resovor along the top has a crack and is completely white. Could the loss of washer fluid be because of the high heat of the engine? Again this didnt happen until After the engine overheated? Any advice would really be appreciated.

I would think there would be a pretty noticeable amount of steam coming from the reservoir if the engine heat was evaporating the fluid. When did you last fill it up? You might have a leak in the "windshield washer system" (it that's the name for it). There are a few places it can leak from, pump, lines, etc...Is the white along the top of the reservoir a powdery substance?

Not related. The engine area on the ww tank side gets very hot because of the turbos and downpipes. It's normal over time for the ww tank filler to crack also.

I filled it up about a month ago with half a gallon of fluid. With no obvious signs of leaks on the drive way.

Thats good to know, i just looked at the ww reservoir and it is right next to the turbos, makes sense why they can begin to crack
