The correct answer is "What is your collision deductible?"
The "I wanna pay cash question" depends on where you go and what they do. -Fender looks like it needs replacement -Bumper looks like they could smooth it out and respray it unless its got more damage not shown in the pitch black picture -Whats wrong with the wheel? A new wheel from BMW is probably going to be around $700 IIRC for the 19

$2k+ and maybe a lot more if it requires new parts (what you probably want given it's a new car)
To compare, I had a dent in my rear bumper that caused it to need to be replaced. Cost me $1k and I had it done at a friends shop. He said they probably wouldve charged anyone else $1500. If that bumper needs to be replaced, it wont come cheap. Not to mention the fender. |

Honestly bro shouldn't cost more that 400 out of pocket, especially in ny...I would think about it before you use insurance...Yes your deductible is 100, but your ins will likely go up, and in the end you will have payed much more than the 400 to fix it.
I did literally the same thing with my dads 550, By accidentally brushed up against the wall on our tight fitting garage. I was able to wipe all the paint off literally right after it happened with goo-be-gone...then sucked out the dent (which is also in the same exact spot as yours) with a dent removal tool, then just had it touched up for 200 worth of paint. Looks brand new! |
