Yes the bmw original one looks way nicer but i have to say, i didnt think an aftermarket HUD existed and for those who don't have the original one, that seems like an interesting alternative. Especially with it being wireless and compatible with iphone app(s) etc.
Whats the price for this? |

Have you seen the HUDs in the Peugeots and Citroens? It uses an attached reflector like this one. It rises out of the dash when you start the car.

Waze if free. Your car comes with a speedo standard. Plus, Waze gives you a map and offers updates by other Wazers for police, including hidden speed traps.
Regarding the HUD, you're not fighting the Soviets. The Cold War is over.

Those 2 sentences seem to contradict each other, care to elaborate?

The car I test drove had it. I know what it is and what it's about. What's the big deal about it? I didn't have unlimited cash. I prioritize things like a the N55 and MP brakes over a completely over-priced tech package. It's freeking $2k+. Easy choice for me.
You have an argument if the HUD could warn me that there was a cop hiding in the shadows under a bridge with a radar gun. Waze does. If you used Waze, you'd know what I'm talking about. That said, I will admit being a fish out of water during my European delivery, having the built in nav with idrive in my rental 328d was very nice. But still, I got by without a HUD. But, if you like it and think it's worth the cash, so be it.
