1 to 2 hour photo delay. Seems like Liberty is heading to Antwerp dock (first stop).

I'm on the Liberty

My CA called today and my car is on the Liberty. It looks like you folks know how to track the ship so I'll just check back here periodically (no more than 24 times per day).

Looks like the LIBERTY has finished its business in Antwerp and is headed for Zeebrugge. After that, it only has 1 more stop to make in the U.K. on Friday, then its straight onto NYC.

In my experience, it usually does not take 10 days to go from the U.K to NYC. When I was on FAUST, it took about 7 days and that ship made a stop in Halifax, NS.

If I had to bet, I'd say that LIBERTY is going to be a couple days early unless another stop is added to its voyage(I've seen that happen too).

I am guessing LIBERTY will dock in NYC on the 20th or maybe late night on the 19th.

Give it a couple of days to show up on the WW website, mine is not tracking either. The important thing is; if your CA told you, your on this boat, your on it.

ok thanks for the support I guess I will believe her then. Until my vin # works I wont be satified. Why are ships so slow, 2 weeks to cross the ocean what are they doing out there having a party. The ocean is not that wide.

The first 5 days or so, these ships are bopping around various ports in EU. Picking up and dropping off. Once it gets through the english channel, it only takes about a week or so to reach the US. I think they max out at about 35 mph.

Interesting, Liberty is about to dock at Zeebrugge. Date of arrival was scheduled for 10/11. Its about 6 hour difference in Belgium. I guess it's ahead of schedule.

After Zeebrugge, there is only 1 more stop in Southampton, England, then its straight onto NYC.

I think we are on schedule according to what dates/stops were laid out on the WW site.

I just don't see the leg from Southampton to NYC lasting from the 12th to the 22nd. I don't know if they are padding the schedule to account for storms or what, but it usually only takes about 6-7 days for this leg, so that would put the arrival around the 19th. I am betting that she will dock in NYC on the 20th which is 2 days ahead of schedule. It may not matter very much because the 21st is a Sunday and I don't think the VPC is open for business. I am pretty sure they work on Saturday.

The good news is I don't see it docking in NYC beyond the 22nd, which is a Monday and then the cars that get dropped off will get on carriers and head off to the dealerships shortly thereafter.

The last time I went through this, my car got discharged from the ship on the 26th, then it arrived at the dealer pre-dawn on the morning of the 28th. This ship was scheduled to arrrive on the 27th so it was a day early. I distinctly remember that it only took around a week to go from Southampton to NYC and thats with a stop in Halifax. The ship was FAUST last time, different ships probably do vary a bit speedwise.

Wow, only 2-3 days from ship, vpc and dealer? I hope it's the same for our cars.
