Can anyone what's the estimated time it takes once car is loaded onto the ship to track across to the states? Thanks for your input.

Oce on a ship. 11-14 days to East Coast (NY) 28 days to West Coast. Then it goes through the VPC and then put on a truck. Depending where you are in the US it could be 2 days to 2-3 weeks after that.

Thats a long journey for sure. I live in Georgia so I guess its not as long from the VPC. Who knows, thanks for the quick replies.

Your car will probably come into Charleston but I have heard of cars going to Atlanta through the New York Processing center.

Do they truck them from NY to Nebraska or do they stick them on a train?

+1 on all the answers on how much "objective" time it will take.

However, it will feel like about 52 weeks in "subjective" time.

Find out the name of the ship your car is on from your CA. You can then look that ship up the following link which is very accurate.
