BMW offering 4.90% financing

I just picked up my 2008 335i last week and they had introduced this rate the day before I purchased. I was lucky because they had my car 3 days before but I could not pick up until Wed of last week.

If you are looking to buy, it might be a good time to take advantage now!

If you are fortunate enough to have access to USAA, their rates are essentially the same (4.94%) for anything up to 60 months as well. One of the best companies to do business with!

I also heard that for lower end models 328 and 330 the rate is actually lower 3.99%.

Hope this helps

Kaiser Federal Bank has a base rate of 4.99% for up to $30k. You can then deduct .50% if your loan is 80% or less of the value of the car. You can deduct an additional .50% if you have direct deposit.

That's what I did, and my loan is 3.99%. I don't live in CA, but still opened a checking account. Our payroll service let's me split up my pay into up to 8 different accounts. I have 1/2 of my car payment direct deposited every month to satisfy the direct deposit requirement.

Their process was quick and easy too. The only trick was that I was first told you have to live in CA in order to open a checking account. I later found out that wasn't true.

there seems to be no deals going on with BMW financing here on the east coast -- looks like I'll have to go elsewhere...

Agreed. Difficult to find a bank or credit union with more competitive rates than USAA.
