Finance rate on 335 convertible?

My car finally arrived at the dealer and I am getting ready to pick it up/ What is the best BMW rate you can get? My credit is elite status, and they told me 7.75 is the rate for 72 months-I am not sure how long I wil fionace for, but I never keep a car very long anyway, so figured why not figure long.

I asked about the 4.9 and 3.9 rates, and was told there are no special offers for the 335 convertible. can anyone verify.

If you're not planning to keep it for a long time why not consider a lease?

At 7.75 you're probably better off securing financing somewhere other than BMW (e.g., credit union, local bank, etc).

I mean a year or so

I have leased before and laways get killed when I break the lease. At least with straight financing you can prepay without a penalty.

M wife works for a bank and said 7.75 for that term is not bad. I am wondering though.

7.75 sounds high. Chase offered 6% while my CA offered me 3.9% via BMW Financial (both for 5yrs). Also check out www.bankrate.com for some rough figures for your area.

Here's what EastCoast335i wrote in regards to the finance rates.

"Just spoke with my Finance Manager and lowest for a 335i (non-vert) is 4.9
Lowest for the 328i (non-vert) is 3.9
Coupe or Sedan is not relevant.
My Finance manager locked me in for 4.9 60mo..."

So I dont think there is any special financing for the verts.
