I got $750 off + a couple free accesories through a lot of haggling, so it added about to $1000 off of MSRP. Around my Area I checked about 4 dealers and all of them wanted MSRP in August. I got offered 1500 off of MSRP at a New Jersey dealership, but I'd rather pay 500-1000 more and just stay at a local dealership.

yeah thats why I mentioned New Jersey. I already got 1000 off of MSRP, So I dont think it is worth it to drive a hour or 2 just to get 500-700 dollars more off. I would just pay a little more and goto a dealer thats 10 minutes from me. Anyway, I think it was Open ROAD BMW that gave me that offer. But, most of the dealers around us do not want to give discounts, but sometimes you get lucky.

BMW itself doesn't but the dealers do my friend
To the OP, i myself after some intense haggling got $5500 (U.S) off my car. Mind you our BMW's here cost a shit load more then the U.S. My car comes to about 100k U.S not including my discount. I was one of the lucky Aussies to receive this price at this time when demand is still strong for the e92 in Australia. |

I use the Costco auto buying program. Just call the toll free number and they'll refer you to a dealer. I got $1300 off the MSRP. I checked the 5 dealerships around my area, and one dealer offer $500 off.

From my experience last year, northern NJ had some of the best pricing. The best way to get them imho is through edmunds.com, then reply to the emails you'll get or call. I got $1700 off, and then after I had made the deal another one came in at $1800, but too late...
From what I can gather on the forum, sounds like the dealerships in CA don't have to offer much discount. Remember from econ 101, a supply or demand is constituted by being willing and able. Cali dealers could give $1700 off easily, but they're not willing. Therefore, no supply at that price. |

You can do it in a few days, but it will take 1-2 months to get the car back on re-delivery. But you save $$$$ and get a nice short driving tour of Germany or ......

wait until January when there is snow on the ground and then go for it. Its hard to sell a car w/ ZSP when you cant let anyone test drive it... I got 2800 off this way.

If 335i is selling like hot cakes (with people waiting 3 months), why should they discount the car and leave money on the table?

There's no snow in California I got $1500 off MSRP on February, when the demand of E92 is high. I see some E92 335 in dealer yesterday, so I assume the demand decrease for that car. I suppose you can get a lot more discounts than I do. Good luck.
