Engine break in
Yes it's 1200 miles per the manual, that's not the question.
i am at 8000 miles now and I thought I had power at 1200 miles. I was wrong, it seams as the car breaks in further more horses and exhaust notes are unleashed. At 1200 I was probably at 8/10s of where I now. Let me know your experience

For some reason I thought 1400 was engine break-in. I'm at 1350 now.
Woo-hoo break-in is over! Sport+ tomorrow. As for performance, I can't tell if the engine is unlocking more power or I'm just learning to drive the thing better, but it definitely has more giddyup off the light. |

I definitely agree that these engines seem to perform better over time. I'm at just over 14k on mine (N20), and output feels more immediate and less restrained than even at 10k miles. I'm smiling every day in my F30
