Another is it too high question

I ordered a car 2 weeks ago , and it is now at the NY pier. Like so many others, I am curious if I paid too much, and if so, I can still cancel.

I have a very loaded 2008 335i coonvertible coming to me hopefully in the next week or so. THe sticker is $60,545, and I paid (or will be paying) $58,100. Somehow that does not seem to be much of a discount compared to others I have gotten. Is this reasonable?

Also, I stopped even looking at BMW's a few years back based on their hoorid electronics. I am fine using the i-drive, if it works, but in the past th ecar was constantly in the shop with various glitches, and the dealer said they had no idea why the electronics were so awful.

I am crossing my fingers that the car is trouble free (given the new complex top etc.) that it drives better than my Lexus, but that it is as reliable.

I am new here so your help would be great.

I'd need to know exactly what you ordered (packages etc.) to give you an opinion. It's important to look at things from an"invoice up", rather than a MSRP down.

Not many dealers will negotiate the price on the 'vert. Sedan, yes. e92/93, not so much. I'd say $2k off is respectable.

I'm guessing the 58k is before taxes and all other fees right?

As long as there are no outrageous doc. fees, this looks like a decent deal. It appears to be $2058 over invoice, and that includes MACO and training fees. That's not bad as it seems dealers don't want to discount these convertibles. ENJOY !!

It is before taxes

That is the price before taxes. Doc. fees are a cost of doing business and should not be passed on to the customer. I always stand my ground on that, so no there is no ridiculous, or for that manner, any document fee.

you're lucky to get any break on price on a 335 convert. I'd say it's a pretty decent deal.

With just about the same options you selected my total was $62,500. This includes taxes, title, and registration fees.
