Vrsf dp install issue

Well it's been a while since I purchased te dp's from vrspeed and I think i was among the first to get them I'm not sure if the have changed . Well I took my car to get them installed at a reputable shop and come to find out that they are rattling . The tech showed me the spots where it's making contact with the frame and the adapters touching . Has anyone had this problem ?

the adapters? Pictures are worth a million words.

I had to adjust my ar dps a couple times as they'd rub on the tranny. Soeone else also suggested once, put a but of rubber hose in between where its rubbing.

Ok so... so after talking to the shop they informed me that everything fits fine BUT that one of the downpipes adapter flange is not centered. They said that the offset makes it touch the other adapter no matter which way they adjust them. I went down and played with the for 4-5 hours and no matter how i adjust them they still touch. here are some pics any one have any pics for comparison ? any suggestions on how to fix this :/

I tried every which way without touching the torx heads or the subframe.

If you put any rubber on the dp's it'll melt or start on fire. If you want smoke pouring from under your car then go ahead.

It's fine to grind down those flanges a bit, but I wouldn't go more than 1/8" on each flange where they interfere.
