I have a 335i sedan, MY 04/08, lately when the engine is turned off (say at the gas station to pump gas) and then started again and I hit the car (say to merge onto the highway) I feel lack of power (weak throttle response) and this light comes up - Its fine 5 mins later

I'm wondering what could this be ... Vaccum leak was fixed 2 weeks ago just fyi

Could be many things but we need codes. Might be Fuel Pump related. Sounds similar to when I get a fuel pump plausability code on the highway, ive left it before and it returns to normal a few minutes later

I just got half engine light for hpfp issue. You should read your codes to find out what it is!!

Pull the codes. Could be a bad coil.

Is there an easier way to pull the code ? I have the DCAN+K cable just that software drives me nuts

Hey guys, what do you need to read the codes with if you don't have a tune like JB4 or procede etc?

If its a bad coil it should spit out the code all the time, it only does it after engine shutdown for 10 mins or so after driving .... fine cold
