replacing secondary cats for vibrant 1792 resonators?

Hey guys, im currently running 2.5 catless dps(switching to vrsf 3") however I didnt get much of a sound change from my 2.5 dps. Iam looking for something a little louder and deeper but with no drone, so the questions is if I replace my secondary cats for vibrant resonators will I get the sound im trying to achieve? Or should I just delete them all together or place the resonators on a different place and remove my secondary cats?

I have an e92 335i, any and all input is appreciated. Thanks

EDIT: second question on page 2

So you had secondary cat deletes and installed resonators instead? Because thats the route I was planning on taking and wanted to see what the sound was like

Search my threads. I posted vid with 3" vrsf dp and secondaries cut out with vibrant 1792. No muffler. Not the greatest quality vid.

How happy/unhappy are you with it? Also how bad is the smoke?

Looking for a little more sound out of mine just no drone and not too much rasp

Hey Rob I have a question you might be able to answer. Do you know what that black plastic pipe that kind of goes around the intake and plugs in right by the alternator(top of the engine) is?

Today I was changing my tmap sensor and I turned the car on without plugging that by mistake and the exhaust sounded alot louder and I could smell the fumes more as well, when I found out what it was I plugged it in and went to back to being odorless and quiet

I figured it was since it was hissing, I wonder why it affects the exhaust so dramatically

I have hacked up my exhaust numerous of times trying to get good sound.

1. Cat less dp and secondaries gone= a lot of Rasp
2. " " And mangaflow catback= less Rasp
3. " " Hi flow race cats 200 cell and x pipe and resonated tips, muffler delete= rasp almost gone
4. My last try will be to cut open my magnaflows since I already have them and seal up the pipe making it a resonator and adding them to the equation which in my opinion will get rid of the rasp. The x pipe gives it that nice high pitch "exotic" sound so I won't get rid of it
