replacing secondary cats for vibrant 1792 resonators?
Hey guys, im currently running 2.5 catless dps(switching to vrsf 3") however I didnt get much of a sound change from my 2.5 dps. Iam looking for something a little louder and deeper but with no drone, so the questions is if I replace my secondary cats for vibrant resonators will I get the sound im trying to achieve? Or should I just delete them all together or place the resonators on a different place and remove my secondary cats?
I have an e92 335i, any and all input is appreciated. Thanks EDIT: second question on page 2 Last edited by ZROFCKSGVN; 07-25-2013 at 06:46 PM.. |

Search my threads. I posted vid with 3" vrsf dp and secondaries cut out with vibrant 1792. No muffler. Not the greatest quality vid.

Today I was changing my tmap sensor and I turned the car on without plugging that by mistake and the exhaust sounded alot louder and I could smell the fumes more as well, when I found out what it was I plugged it in and went to back to being odorless and quiet |

Rasp
Quote:
1. Cat less dp and secondaries gone= a lot of Rasp 2. " " And mangaflow catback= less Rasp 3. " " Hi flow race cats 200 cell and x pipe and resonated tips, muffler delete= rasp almost gone 4. My last try will be to cut open my magnaflows since I already have them and seal up the pipe making it a resonator and adding them to the equation which in my opinion will get rid of the rasp. The x pipe gives it that nice high pitch "exotic" sound so I won't get rid of it |
