N63 / N63TU, S63 / S63TU, N74 owners

Good news,we took delivery of our set of cores for the amazing engine you guys have in your car this morning and they look oh so very upgradeable. We will be pulling them apart in the near future and getting a plan together so hopefully we can bring you guys a decently priced upgrade. I will keep you posted...

Is what you meant to say here is that you are going to be developing upgraded turbo's for these engines? If so, you will need software to accompany the bigger turbos won't you?

of course, any upgraded turbo requires different tuning to take advantage of it. We are developing hardware for all the new BMW platforms and when the software catches up to the ones that aren't there yet, which it always does, we will be ready. There are already tuning companies making big gains on these cars. Add upgraded turbos to the mix and that's when things really start getting interesting.

Just make good enough turbos so that we can destroy any GTR from 0-200mph. Thanks!

That my friend is a tall order, but what we have cooking should support 800 WHP with the proper tuning and upgrades, assuming the engine can take it.

The DCT can handle the hp but the torque needs to be kept just below 600. Yes I know it can take more on occasion but for the typical driver who stomps on the pedal frequently you will have a blown up transmission.

Were not forgetting about anything really. We are going to build the upgraded turbos for the motor and team up with a tuner to get the software where it needs to be. As far as the tranny and active diff. All things that other hardware companies will address as the power limits get pushed.

MHR has driven both their M5 and M6 hard for a long time know. Quite a few Autobahn runs and not to mention races (GTBoard.com). Sure, it's harder on the DCT than a stock car and it's a worry with the amount of torque. But, it doesn't blow up straight away at least

I just spent last weekend on the Autobahn with over 1,000 miles of very fast driving. Lots of runs against exotic cars and hitting the limiter at 315 km/h a dozen times. Tranny is still happy.

Hey Tony, Is Cobb involved in this? BTW N74 is the V12 in 760li. Do N74 and S63 share turbos?

Thanks and keep up the good work.
