Anyone had any experience with one of the following?
I basically want to be able to play videos through my iPhone 4S on the CCC system.

Dension Gateway 500 + Audio Video Router
Seems the oldest one around and a bit messy installation with so many different parts

Dension iCon Drive
Fairly new, but requires connection to the MOST system? Do I have it?
Seen demos where it shows album art and ability to play video it would seem.
A bit vague but seems quite good.

Cheapest option, not sure about quality and the control interface.
And a bit messy where it hijacks the entire iDrive screen once in that mode.
Unsure what's going on behind, will the bluetooth still come through and sat etc.
The above 2 options seem to work as factory and use the TV section only.

Been searching high and low to get video in. And also found this german one, but super vague on their site on price and whether it will work with DVB-T2 signal cause it comes with DVB tuner as well as RCA inputs. Seems very slick though.

Also worth of mentioning the price of these units.

I guess you need to consider followings;
-Price of these kits
-Above V/S price of CIC retrofitted
-Resale value of these kits
-Resale value of your car with CCC
-Resale value of your car with CIC retrofitted
or
-Resale value of just CIC, if you revert back to CCC before selling the car.

Think about all of these. If there is a minor difference b/w these kits and CIC retrofit, my vote goes to CIC retrofit. And no matter what you do / spend on the CCC, at the end of the day its going to be CCC.

I don't know the answer to any of those questions.
I agree however that the CIC is of course the better option, but I can't decide what the best thing for me to do is. Cause of course the CIC has better screen etc. But to be honest I'm running kinda fine with the CCC. Use the phone / sat nav daily and its a tad slow, but I'm still using it without getting frustrated at all.

The thing is that the CIC, plus even the combox won't give me the function to play any video I want from the phone it seems. I thought it was possible at first.
