Re-programming for brakes
Good day all,
I'm sure this has been sorta beaten to death: A DSC retrofit encoding must be performed via ISTA/P after installation of the BMW M Performance sports brake system. However, what does this imply when upgrading to other brakes such as Alcon and AP racing? If M perf brakes is deemed to be better performing, such that you need to recode it to "sports" for the abs to work with the improved braking, will installing "even better" brakes be not that worth it? |

I don't have an answer to your question but I've been running MPerf brakes for about 4k miles without the coding and its been fine.
