cornering light malfunction?

Right cornering light malfunction warning and Left cornering light malfunction warning

what do these mean and how can i fix em?

same thing happened to me. I just replaced the bulb and it worked fine. I have an e90 lci and when you look at the headlight, right on the top there should be 3 small screws that you unscrew and you can get to that light. forgot what kind of bulb but it's easy to search.

boom done. thought it was something to do with adaptive headlights. its an h3 bulb if anyone comes across this!

I'm having the same issue. Where did you purchase your bulb from and what exactly is the name of the OEM bulb? I know it's a H3 type of bulb, but I want to make sure I get the original stock bulb and not an aftermarket. Thanks.

Also never done any work on the car personally, is this truly a easy DIY?

yea its a piece of cake, i was just mislead by the name "cornering" bulb....its an H3 no worries about aftermarket or not... i dont remember what brand i used but it shouldnt make a differnece.

Thanks for the response! Sounds good. I just heard that some aftermarket bulbs throw codes and it needs to be a certain wattage...so I thought I would ask.

i just threw some gp thunder 7500k in there and they match the headlights pretty good!

Nice! What color would you say the 7500s are? White-ish blue or white?
