E92 M-Tech Rear CF Diffuser....Where to buy?
Hi All,
I'm ready to buy a carbon fiber dual diffuser for my E92. There are a few vendors on the forum that have what I want but I'm looking for feedback on which place is best. It could be OEM or replica, as long as fitment and quality are 100%. So far this is what I've found... - PYSpeed (Arkym Diffuser): Top quality, beautiful, but expensive - Bimmer Kit (Duke Dynamics Diffuser): Love how it looks, but have heard horrible fitment issues, bad customer service - J-L Motoring (Performance Diffuser): Looks good, not sure of fitment/quality - Mod Bargains (Performance Diffuser): Looks good, not sure of fitment/quality If you guys know any other or had any experience with the above mentioned, please let me know! |

I have my duke diffuser on order from LTMW. That way if I have fitment issues I know they'll help me out. I have only heard of issues with some sedan diffusers though, never a coupe.
You also can get the OEM IS diffuser. The center piece can be replaced with a CF one that is OEM (although just as pricey I think as a complete CF diffuser) As far as the JL diffuser, I did some searching a while ago and heard horrible fitment issues with it. So that's why I decided on Duke Dynamics. |

^interesting...would you happen to know if LTMW would be willing to ship a Duke Dynamics diffuser? I always wanted a DD diffuser but I'm scared of fitment issues.

I ordered my dukes dynamics dual diffuser a little over two weeks ago and should have it tomorrow based on the tracking number provided. I will provide pictures once installed.

The closer you get to OEM, the better fitment will be. That includes getting close to the price as well. I've tried out a couple different diffusers from different price ranges, and I'll admit you can tell which one costs a lot vs which one was for a better price just by seeing how it fits. The problem with CF diffusers is, our bumper has a unique contour in it, unless you make the diffuser some what flexible, it won't follow these contour lines perfectly, which is what creates gaps and other forms of bad fitment.

Looks great, are you going to add that small piece above the diffuser?
