Will H&R Sport springs look like this drop?
Hey guys I am getting my 335i xDrive 2013 sedan soon with M adaptive suspension and I was wondering if by installing H&R Sport springs the ride height would be like this member's insanely sexy machine below or will it be higher?
Thanks

H&R Sport NOT Super Sport will be lower than that? If so a lot lower?

^ looks like M Performance suspension.
Pics below are fellow F30 (non-xdrive) members with sports suspension lowered on h&r springs. Whether the car above is xdrive will play a factor as they have regular non sport suspension and will sit higher if lowered on springs. |

I have a feeling those cars have H&R Super Sport springs. They look slammed

Yes, the car you pictured have the M Performance Suspension that is about 10 mm higher than the Sport springs. The white car (Maz335i) has H&R Sport springs, most likely the grey too but I don't know that for a fact on that car.

The super sports are lower than those, or just heavier spring rate? OP: Why not just get the BMW M Perf springs? Their ride height looks perfect for daily driving. |

I have had the H&R SPORT springs installed for about 3 months now on my 335i M-Sport with 19" 403 M Wheels. When 1st installed the car looked like the grey car, but now it has settled and looks more like the white car, but not quite as low as that for some reason! I can take a side pic if you're really interested.

Here is another white F30 with the sport springs and 20's. It looks perfect to me. |

Thanks for clearing that up Rossifumi!
My car is the white one above and is on H&R Sport Springs. It's looks much lower due to the 18" winter setup I have. Once I get my summer wheels on, it'll get a bit higher... Love the springs, great value for money. But I'd prefer getting coilovers in the near future...

Question, are lowering springs compatible with my adaptive suspension?

I have to say that this car really looks so much better lowered. My issue is from what I have seen and heard that the right way to lower is coil overs. Spring changes can lead to failures on other suspension parts. I have the adaptive susp. as well and have been researching this mod for some time now. In the end, I decided that coil overs are to high priced for me and the spring change could be a problem down the road. So, looks like I'm staying stock unless some of the more educated guys on suspension can point out the pros and cons on 335 f30 adaptive susp. mods.

Overall, I would classify this change as "more show than go" which is something I have never done on any of my cars (at this expense). With installation, this was an $800 mod. But, like the above comment, the appearance of the car in stock form was pretty much unacceptable to me.

Very good and honest info. Thanks. I agree the car still looks so much better lowered. I guess the above statements on the ride is why coil overs are really the only way to lower this car properly. But of course that comes at a much higher price tag too. |

since this is a DD, i have a slammed isf for show and stuff, would the springs be just enough for DD, not low enough to angle up driveways and stuff but makes turn in better?

I have not scraped at all with my Msport on Sports. It's very DD'able.

I keep going back and forth and as much as I'd like to go lower, the H&R Sport seem most practical. Coilovers would be ideal so that I can raise it, but can't justify spending that much on a lease.
