BMS Stage 2 N26 Development!

Hi guys, so I've seen my dyno chart floating around different threads, so I thought I'd make an official thread to discuss stage 2.

So, last week I took my car down to socal to work with Terry on testing stage 2 with the N26. As you can tell from the dyno, the horsepower is probably within 10 of stage 1 and torque seems up between 10-20 compared to stage 1. There might be a discrepancy since my engine made 270lbft of torque stock, which was quite surprising! But so far, I honestly haven't noticed as much through the butt dyno as stage 1 vs stock, which is to be expected since they haven't figured out how to control the electric solenoid.

But regardless, it is noticeably faster than stock I plan on doing some runs with and without and comparing times. The nice thing about stage 2 is that you can turn it on and off from the steering wheel or through your computer. Unfortunately he's still working on dash controls for the F30, so you won't be able to tell if it switched unless you use a computer

Anyways, that brings me to another point. One of the main reasons N26 development is going so slow is because Terry doesn't have an N26 to work with. So if there is anyone with an N26 in socal, please bug him to finish the development and get us a final product!

Hm, is this N26 just more powerful than N20? I can understand not all motors are considered equal, but I assumed it's coded to release a certain amount of power out the door

No, BMS dynod both. N26 is an emissions creation, but does not pay a power penalty.

Yo! Since I'm local to SoCal, Terry installed the stage 2 on my F30. Overall, the experience has been great! The cool thing is that you can switch between stock and stage 2 using the steering wheel. And when you go stage 2, you can definitely feel the difference. I haven't dynoed, and I don't think I will ever dyno, but you can definitely feel the increased pull in all modes ( comfort and sport).

I got used to stage 1 after driving for a while. But when I put on stage 2, I realized I was getting another tier of power. Can't wait until we get more dash features! Great tune!

Yea n20. Probably shouldn't have posted in your n26 thread, but just wanted to share!

You think the higher torque readings you measured as stock might have been because of your m perf exhaust? I have the m exhaust and don't expect any perf gains from it, but I wonder if your dyno is proof of some gains. ???
