CCA Starbucks / Drive / Golf Meet

I would like to host a Starbucks Meet, spirited drive, and golf range day in the near future...and will work with the CCA guys to get it sanctioned as an event...

My thoughts are:

10:30am Meet at the Tysons S'Bux with the big parking lot...
10:30am-11:15am coffees and breakfast on the CCA / meet 'n greet with the machines
11:30am 45-60 minute 'fun drive'
12:30pm Procure range balls at Woody's Golf in Great Falls for a few hours of 'practice' and lessons for the beginners...

This will really rally the troops for a CCA golf tournament...and give a good opportunity for the golf newbs to get some practice in before hitting a course...

More details, like date/time/place to come...but I am looking at Saturday 9/29 or Sunday 9/30 as a placeholder. This will take place on the Virginia side...

10:30am Start at Tysons Starbucks...you all know the spot
11:30am Depart for Great Falls drive...now we're talking
12:30pm Arrive at Woody's Golf in Great Falls (nice parking lot, just drive really slow on the gravel)
12:30pm to whenever...golfing at the range...there's a really cool mini-golf course there too, and batting cages, etc...a rather nice facility...

Please specify whether you are a CCA member...I would like to get this sanctioned by our CCA folks.

that's just my 1st thoughts...i can go for 1st or 2nd weekend in Oct...really, I haven't looked at October on the Outlook calendar...but I will...

Yeah, I forgot to sign up for that Lexus thingy...but I might laugh the whole time so it'd be better if I didn't go...

Hey man, there's no shame in my game, I just don't want to lose my licencia before I get my car. At least if I lose it in the 335, I might have some self respect left. Noting like getting popped doing 100 with the top down blasting Cher!

Side note: That car will blast right up to 125 with zero effort. Hats off to VeeDub for that little 2 liter. For what it is, it rocks. Doesn't exactly suck the panties off the ladies as it goes by, but they do love to ask me about it, but only as a "friend."
